SPTC welcomes back to our stage another work by critically acclaimed playwright Conor McPherson (THE NIGHT ALIVE, SHINING CITY,THE SEAFARER, THE WEIR) with the apocalyptic thriller THE BIRDS. Mysterious masses of birds have begun to violently attack at high tide, driving strangers Nat and Diane to take refuge in an isolated, abandoned house by the sea and form a bond to survive their haunting new circumstance. With no electricity and scarce food, the tension is palpable and hope is waning. Yet if two is company, three is a crowd, as the sudden arrival of a young woman with a mysterious nature of her own ruffles feathers in the house and quickly threatens to destroy their so-called sanctuary.

3/16 - Save the Date! Tom Corbett Trio playing at Santa Paula Theater Center -- 4/1 ... Tom Corbett is a mandolin and guitar playing singer songwriter who has toured and recorded with some of the best musicians in the folk and roots musical world. He toured and recorded with The Acousticats which featured Phil Salazar and Cyrus Clarke (Cache Valley Drifters) which lead to him working with John McEuen (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) and The String Wizards.
Corbett recorded several albums with John as well as the award winning DVD John McEuen & Jimmy Ibotson-Nitty Gritty Surround on AIX Records. During his stint with John he played and recorded with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jennifer Warnes, Vassar Clements, Laurie Lewis and John Sebastian.
