Elf Jr. The Musical tells the story of Buddy who searches for his Dad in NYC and brings the spirit of Christmas and his belief in Santa Claus to everyone he meets. The first-ever all youth cast production features 25 ages between 8 and 18. They play 50 different characters. The musical is based on the movie Elf. Directed by Gai Jones. ... 9/22 - One Act Laugh Tracks ... at Ojai Art Center Theater ... The “One Act Laugh Tracks” festival is arriving on time starting Sept. 9, stopping at Ojai ACT through Oct. 2 with local playwrights on board carrying luggage full of laughs. It’s a very special journey in which the writers were present during auditions and assisted the four directors in casting actors to bring their characters to life. Perhaps some of them might remind you of an Ojai neighbor, a Ventura friend, a former love interest or a visiting relative?

Come enjoy an evening of hilarity as vicars pop up in every corner in The Three Masketeers' production of See How They Run by Philip King. Directed by Richard Camp (director of "Black Comedy" which recently played to sold out houses at the Ojai Art Center Theater), this production will have you in stitches as you step into the living room of the local British vicar and his American actress wife. Add a Cockney maid, a grumpy parishioner, a visiting Bishop, and a Russian spy amongst others and it will be an evening you won't forget!

The world’s most famous and amazing traveling wild west show is coming to Ojai ACT in July with the Tony Award winning musical version of “Annie Get Your Gun.” It’s coupled with a turbulent love story surrounding the true story of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show, which was as popular as a rock concert would be today.
During a stop in Cincinnati, the world’s most famous marksman, Frank Butler, challenges anyone to a shooting match. A local hotel owner enters 15-year-old Annie Oakley and “Doin’ What Comes Natur’lly,” she beats him, earning an instant offer to join the show. The rest is, literally, history. But the love and rivalry between Frank and Annie is as wild and turbulent as the show itself, featuring ...

6/17 - Ozomatli -- Saturday at the Libbey Bowl in Ojai ... Bursting onto the L.A. stage with their first eponymously titled album in June 1998, Ozomatli capitalized on being the talk of the live music scene, particularly their show stopping gigs. By 1999, they were touring with Carlos Santana and soon won the Grammy for “Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album” for 2001’s EMBRACE THE CHAOS.
They repeated history in 2004 by winning again in the same category for their album STREET SIGNS. In the band’s nearly twenty years together, they have toured internationally, collaborated with the Boston and New York Pops orchestras, and served as Cultural Ambassadors for the U.S. State Department. ...
